I'd always presumed that some technology maharajah had ordained that whoever made the tss must be someone different from whoever made the rest of the embedded software. i guessed this was the ensure no strategic hookage by wave, which seems otherwise to dominate the foundation of tc.

maybe i was wrong.

but if wave does this, and it is adopted, and likely no one else can easily do so, wave is pretty much burned into the foundation of tc, isn't it?

or am i missing something?
