He did do it just to appease the stockholders. The reason why Jim’s PRs are small or nonexistent. It’s called, Aversion reaction.

Jim has previously stated in emails that he tries to avoid PRs because every time he does a PR, AFTC tanks. He only put out this latest one because ihubers were clamoring for it. His theory of, “Why should I spend money to lose money” makes sense. It is still exasperating to most of us. However, we did get technically what we asked for; a stark update, devoid of all frills.

Am I happy. No. Will I live with it? Yes.
