everyone knew they were prototypes....its been discussed numorous times....the point is ,this first quarter was to garner new accounts with new product...thats what we were looking for today.its been known that REAL PROGRESS wasnt to be achieved till 3rd or 4th quarter.. are you surprised

Really? Everyone knew that? I've read every post on this board for the past year (probably two), and over the past several months, I don't remember one time where anyone mentioned that the parts that were announced to be shipped were just prototypes. Can you post links to some of the posts discussing it? I'm not saying you're wrong, but I'd love to review some messages that I obviously missed.

And based on the sentiment of the board from both traders and longs, yes, I am surprised. This is after many messages noting how Steipp has finally turned this company around, and has begun shipping parts to customers and how we are going to see quarter over quarter revenue increases starting with this quarter.

I agree that I think that the 2nd half of this year will (hopefully) be better than the 1st half, and I have seen some small mention to the same idea on this board over the past month, but the majority of the posts for the past 30 days were all about how this quarter, and all future quarters were going to blow everyone away. This is exactly why dozes of posts from the past few days SPECIFICALLY attempt to make fun of shorters, saying that they better cover before the conference call or they're going to "lose their shorts." Do I even need to mention specific posters who SPECIFICALLY said that shorters better cover before the conference call because when everyone saw the revenue increases, the stock was going to shoot to the moon?!?

If everyone knew that the parts were only prototypes, and that there were no revenue increases, why would they tell the shorts to be worried? If everyone expected what we got, the stock wouldn't plummet (like most expect it to tomorrow), but sure as he!! wouldn't go "to the moon" after the CC and earnings!
