Anyone who thinks Apple will let this fall apart before the debut of iphone5 is ludicrous.
The funding will be there guaranteed, Apple has top much invested now.

This is exactly why AAPL had LQMT setup Crucible, and had them transfer all IP rights to Crucible. Crucible issued all licenses directly to AAPL, LQMT did not give any licenses directly to AAPL. It was setup this way so that if LQMT goes out of business, AAPL will still have the licenses that it needs, still provided by Crucible.

In plain English - AAPL will not be affected by LQMT going out of business.
