The company announced that it'd hired Roger Glenn as its attorney. It also put out a mendacious PR claiming it'd done a core analysis that revealed the core in question was "diamondiferous".

That resulted in a trading halt in Canada for a partner company. A couple of diamonds that can only be seen with a microscope don't count for much.
