Actually, to get a bit technical with you.. you can run Mac OS on pretty much any Intel chipset. No need to buy a whole new computer.
Source: I currently have an Intel desktop with a dual boot for both Windows 7 and Mac OS Lion.



True :). You can theoretically install the Mac OS on any Intel based processor now. However, this wasn't always the case especially when IBM and Apple were married with the PowerPC processor.
