GEO - If my great great grandfather didn't get his surgery he probably died. I'd like to think we've come away from that model. I do think of food as a right and I protest mightely when I see the government poisoning my foodstuffs with GMO's, pesticides, aspartame and pasteurization. They make disease a fait accompli by their actions. It keeps the doctors and hospitals employed and it also balloons health care costs beyond belief.
