Global Digital Solutions Receives $6 Million in New Bid Requests for Major Initiatives in California

Global Digital Solutions (GDSI.PK) announced today that the company has received 4 separate bid requests for work with the Central Valley Independent Network (CVIN) (3) and the city of Richmond, California (1). For strategic reasons, the company is not revealing the source of the final bid request.

The Central Valley Independent Network (CVIN) is a consortium of affiliates of independent telephone companies in central and northern California that has begun construction on a new network that is expected to provide broadband access to 1,973 communities in California's Central Valley area.

W.J. "Bill" Delgado, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Global Digital Solutions commented, "We are very excited to receive these recent requests for formal bids for $6 million in work. We are very confident that we will submit very competitive bids for at least two of the bid requests which would be almost $4 million in new business for our company."

Delgado added, "We are definitely seeing an increase of activity as more federal and state funding is allocated to improve the infrastructure in Central and Northern California. We are very excited about our internal economic forecasts and we will be announcing updated revenue projections within the next few weeks."
