Buying power had eroded, but how much is due to economy such as reduced income, rising fuel, general market conditions? Corporations are posting great profits right now from what I see.

General inflation is also a factor. I've always been someone who tries to look at a whole picture, dollar collapse alone is insufficient to me. Many factors outside of our control affect buying power on the individual basis.

It's my nature to question everything and argue with everyone lol. Just kidding.

We will see, I remember 30 years ago they said the same things and interest rates were insanely high. It's all a shell game to me. The folks at the top keep us in the dark and feed us crap. We should all be mushrooms.
