So you are saying that you would roll out a version that is compatible only up to windows XP, when vista is right around the corner ??? Make your users have to go through senseless updates just to be able to use your software ??? Also lets not forget the main focus for this product is for business use....you want them to have to update 10...20...50..or even 300 computers, and PAY someone to do that when the time comes in a couple months ??? From what I have heard Vista is basically on the same platform as 2k/xp as it is, so their is probably not much editing that needs to be done. Why not take a couple extra weeks to test, and make the software Vista compatible..... Save your users time, money, and the trouble of updating, and add another good selling point to the product at the same time..... Just makes much more sense then doing things "half-assed" like you are suggesting.... JMHO
