STEIPP by STEIPP

In my opinion, Waniuk left in very good terms. He is a very discrete individual. He did his job superbly and met all expectations. He opened the doors to many new customers.

While certainly his loyalties let to Apple now, to the extent that Apple permits scientific interaction with Liquidmetal (certainly up through August of 2012 as per contract) he remains a valuable asset for LQMT as an Apple Insider.

We have to recall that Steipp is a very good friend of Jonathan Ives and another associate of Ives at Apple.

This move of Waniuk's to Apple was not an isolated event. It may have been planned by Steipp as well as Waniuk with Ives, simply because it made since economically, and is aligned with Steipp's new plan to sub-contract new R&D.

You must understand that running a liquidmetal R&D lab is not cheap. Investment in new equipment is constant. Apple has big bucks to front R&D, Lqmt is a little short at the moment.

I suspect LQMT will enjoy what comes out of APPLE's lab for years down the road. Apple builds long term relationships, even if they are hard-nosed.
