The difference is that DUTV will have an "open source" version of iptv. They claim to be the first, but there is actually one already up and running in Portugal:

Still pretty cool though, they will be first in the West, assuming they start this thing up within the next few weeks. I will have to do a lot more DD though about the benefits of an open source IPTV and smart tv's vs. all the other stuff out there.

Its worth throwing a tiny bit of money at.
