Geo thank you for taking the time to give me that very detailed answer. This does make total sense. Should be the dead cat bounce of the well then I take it? lol

One point they did make that still has me scratching my head is that no fossil has ever been discovered below 16k feet and we drill oil much deeper in some places. How can it still be a fossil fuel if there is no decaying animal and plant matter that deep in the crust?
