My favorite friend on this board :)

Let me walk you through this process... although I still think you could just walk down the hall and ask one of the other VirTra employees to answer your questions, but anyways...

The list that you are referring is called the "Interested Vendors List". This is a list for companies to post there information for the purposes of letting the world know that they are interested in the opportunity. The Government does not update the list nor is it tied to the RFI or the procurement what so ever... It is basically a curiosity on FBO has that allows companies to say "hey I'm interested in this opportunity, so industry partners called me"...

Now let’s put our business hat on... if you were a savvy business person and wanted to strategically win an opportunity...would you list yourself on this list??? Maybe but most likely the answer is No...

Did you also notice that the incumbent Cubic is not listed and what about other VirTra competitors like Meggitt, IES... Not even SAIC, Raytheon or Lockheed is listed... wow that would make me think a little... something is odd here…. Why would an opportunity as big as this one ($100+M), is nobody of value on the public "Interested Vendors List"...(Yes, Laser Shot is but do they really count...)

Wait maybe none of them submitted the RFI...heck what's a $100+ million dollar opportunity...who needs that... No that just sounds like something a fister would says...

I've got it...maybe it is because VirTra is being strategic and just maybe playing like a big boy company...but no you're right they probably do not even know about the opportunity...

Look now I just made you a little smarter…next time go ask your VirTra buddies in the next cubical…
