Emax Alive was one of the old crap subsidiaries. What is funny is that a few years ago, she boasted about "simplifying Emax" and combined many of the crap companies back into Emax. So then we can say Emax Alive is dead! Of course, keeping with slick Roxie's chicken without a head "management" style, she shortly thereafter starting creating new subsidiaries again.
As far as this JV in your post, of course, nothing came of it, just like 99% of the PR announcements. There are too many of these for me to post even in a week. One of my favorites though is
Yes, that's right, she actually claimed to be purchasing 16 TV stations! Hey slick Roxie, want to update your "valued shareholders" as to what become of that gem? lol
And, the Larry Oakley "editorial" was written by Larry Oakley, former Emax board member. Hey Larry, did you dump those shares after your "recommendation" of Emax? As far as his buy Emax while it is "reasonably low priced" comment at the time....note that Emax was trading at $1.50 back then, split adjusted! It then proceeded to fall over 75% in the next 2 months! Attaboy Larry!
