I think most of us are misguided. Bulk of short started at 15 not at 13.
We are trading on fundamentals.
GM is racking more profit because of low cost structure so is Chrysler. That was the reason Ford was shorted in first place.
Ford sales are not so robust as GM , Toyota or other car companies.
Yes Ford is very good company but what market expected that exactly how we are doing.
So dreaming that once we break 13 it is clear sailing is fools dream IMOP.
Short will cover when we will make new highs not at 13 or 16.
Those of us who just want to trade should trade these 4-7 % up down.

I have huge position in Ford mostly on long side but I am short few thousand through calls also, just a disclaimer.
Remember I can change my position any time.
