In the early years, Mr. Caramico was with Stream SpA, a leading Italian pay-TV company. There, he was responsible for a joint project with Microsoft for the localization and implementation of the Microsoft Interactive TV Platform (MiTV) working out of its Redmond, Washington campus. In 1984, he was co-founder, partner and technical director of Studio Sistemi Grafici srl, a computer graphics company that created on-screen highlights and statistics for the Sunday afternoon soccer games, and other programs for the Italian Broadcasting Companies.
