You're begging the question. I already pointed out that vendors are free to dump the Intel rebates if they felt AMD really brought more to the table. You are claiming that said rebates equate to "predatory tactics that ... prevent access of a competitor to sell into the market place."

Well why is that? Maybe the advantages AMD brings isn't all worth that much anymore. Maybe this is where technology fizzles out and anti-trust law takes over. Maybe AMD is tacitly admitting that they can't compete against the 800 lb. gorilla without the government's help now.
