not discounting the possibility that it could be a MM signaling news, but my guess is it is more likely that someone (MM or not) may simply just be messing around, just seeing if they can get a rise out of people, as opposed to someone having credible information that news is actually coming. Hard telling, but I would certainly take it with a grain of salt.
