You are right in saying "They don't pay people to make "awareness" for no reason..." - But what you may not be aware of is that awareness has been on this stock for the past two or three weeks. That awareness has brought extra attention, which has in turn increased the volume which has taken it from 0.006 to Friday's close of 0.0358 - That's almost 500%!!!!
This is not a 500% where your $5,000 sell drops the stock 30-40% - No, this stock has been trading millions of dollars with very strong liquidity, liquidity which allows people to trade in and out without having a diverse effect on the PPS.

My question is this: In what world is that a bad thing for the people who are in the stock?
