CBM,
Bucks replied very well to the points. I would just add this: as for why these acquisition targets would agree to be acquired, I can only really make a fair judgment on the Iowa processor, in that they have had a multiple year relationship with SMKY as one of their customers and must have a good sense of their potential for massively increasing the overall production at their plant. My understanding is that this acquisition includes a combination of cash and restricted stock, so they are getting a piece of the action, and to them, they may also view this acquisition as a means for going public with their business.
Right now, it all comes down to getting the PS funds, and Eddie said he expects the first couple million dollars any day now. That allows for production to ramp up again, as there is demand for their products through new distribution channels.
As for the stock, I think the chat created enough excitement, due to the imminent expectations of the company, that we should see some new buying interest beginning today. If news is on the horizon, that should help keep the momentum going next week, IMO.
Good luck to us all - we have been very patient, and I sense that patience is soon going to pay off for us.
