Actually, I do not remember. Did Siemens sell the phones or did they act as a OEM for Flarion branded phones ??

As the press release that Khemara posted points out (thanks!), it seems that the agreement was only for infrastructure.

I still dont understand how Siemens could commit to bring infrastructure to market without some sort of IPR agreement with Flarion. They would have had all of the leverage. At the very least, you would think they would have received a royalty-free license on the infrastructure side.

Oh well, it ends up being an absolute stroke of good fortune for Q.
