If a foreign bank trades in US shares, they will have to comply with the same rules as the rest of us (originals needed). I doubt you have lost your right to a distribution. KCC is probably now telling all banks and brokers (including foreign ones) that they need them to submit the originals of the releases for the records. Just send them.
