I hear ya! And in Frankfurt, Germany they have a canine officer walking around through the airport, with the dog, to check for explosives, and I imagine drugs. Never saw the dog alert on anyone, but I imagine it would ruin you day!
Here .... people are so stupid ....... they'll pay to go to a movie full of shooting violence, etc, or watch TV shows with violence and guns, but then when they get out in public they act totally opposite, as if they have never seen a firearm before.
Their only idea of firearms is watching the Hollywood shooting scenes in movies an TV shows. That, coupled with the constant barrage of misinformation from the "antis", creates an air of "evil" around firearms ... which of course, is only believed by the firearm-illiterate portion of the populace.
Yep, if an officer were to get out of the car and walk up with a shotgun cradled in his left arm ..... people would be complaining right and left, and the officer would most likely be reprimanded (at best) for his or her inappropriate conduct. But then when an officer is shot ..... those same ones who compained hardly blink an eye.
