It wasn't easy to collect as many information as possible from all sources but from what I calculated I give the results. Please correct me or reply if you have to add something. Basically I'll take John's words to plant 225 trees per acre. As P. is easily to reproduce from root cuttings I expect SGCP to advance with the project year by year, multiplying the acres to afforest the SL1 project. The calculations are realistic using conservative prices for the revenues. As we do not know the operation plan, I calculated the expenses and revenues lumber for ONE acre. Some companies even plant up to 600 trees per acre, but the more sunlight the trees get, the better, so even 225 trees planted I'll use a very conservative $2,00/board foot lumber price. A P., matured (10 years), has an average of 50 board feet, so from here we already can calculate an income per acre of 225X50X2=$22500 after 10 years. The expenses I calcuted for one acre/year we have the labor $160, fuel/supplies $40, management $400, I still add $100 for all kinds of everything, totalising $700 a year . For 10 years:$7000. Additional expenses as harvesting, shipping, transport, taxes after 10 years. Just give us a loan of approx $150,000 for a truck and a tractor. This are rough estimations for one acre, but it was worth posting it, wasn't it?
