As I posted before with a company going private and the potential to increase ROI, BJ’s Wholesale went private in $2.8 billion deal, where it was bought by Leonard Green & Partners and CVC Capital Partners for about $2.8 billion. Where BJ’s stockholders received $51.25 for each share they owned (a 6.6% premium at the time of the writing of the article). Sorry if you may have had tough luck in the past when some of your stocks went private, but that doesn't apply to all instances. The difference here I think is that with your shares, the company itself went private without a buyout from a different party, but in other cases, a company can first buy another company and then turn a profit, where the buyout is at a premium to the current share price, and this is the exact scenario I was referring in my previous post where perhaps an even higher ROI can be made with CTDH.
