Having slept on it, I'm starting to agree with you Chiroman. I think my statement that the Tomassonis "have made a compelling argument" is inaccurate. I should have said that the Tomassonis have told a compelling story. So far, there's very little evidence to support these accusations and therefore there isn't much of an argument. We'll likely have to wait until the trial before we see anything convincing.
I think that even if the Tomassonis are model citizens (as Oklahoma1960 seems to think), and even if JS is the scum of the earth, it's still not going to be a trivial matter to convince a judge or jury of that. JS has been doing this for a long time and has almost certainly learned a thing or two about covering his ass. It's going to require a considerable amount of money to make a proper case against him, which the Tomassonis clearly don't have.
Having said that, I'm highly doubtful that the Tomassonis have managed to keep their noses completely clean throughout these dealings. I mean, just look at the errors made and the lies told by the representative they've sent here. There's going to be a spotlight on every mistake, every failure, every lie, and every attempt to game the system. Things that have already started to come out in the court documents JS provided on his fanofacts site. It's already clear that the Tomassonis are NOT model citizens.
I really don't see the Tomassonis coming out ahead in this matter, but either way, it's probably not going to be good for us.
