That is truely unfortunate of the happenings in Chile, however, back to Canada for a moment and you have to realize one thing,

In Canada there are many ways to protect one self from computer hacking and stealing of documents.

1. Use a harddrive to back all data

2. Copy to a disk and carry in your pocket, very safe

3. When using your computer for typing of documents, use it but disconnect from the interenet first, hence, nobody then can steal from you.

I find it very hard to believe that any commando style of holdups would be evident in Canada unless you will be meeting out in the boonies somewhere, however, in the case at hand in Canada, I am quite confident that when roaming the streets of Vancouver or Toronto, you will not have bandits attack for private property, however, Jorge, If you think I am wrong here there is always an opportunity to allow several people who you TRUST to walk with the information to get it to the proper place before being destroyed.
Just seems to me and perhaps other Canadian Investors that some of your story is slipping fast with the things abx is apparently doing to you, so counter it and hire a security guard.
