Market Makers are allowed by sec regulations to control share price any way they want ,, and if there's no volume , they will stick in bogus trades and take it down , , or just take it down ,, if no trades for a certain length of time , then tthey will take it down ,,, flippers love it and wiil post nasty comments to support mm activity trying to shake out investors with weak convictions !!! then they accumulate on the lows !!
