Charlie- I'm very interested in your informed opinion about the news story posted here- #msg-73107372 , entitled "After quakes, Ohio plans tough gas-drilling rules."

I live in central Ohio and this has garnered quite a bit of attention since the entire fracking debate is ongoing here, unfortunately mixed up with politics

(OT: I sometimes think that I'm one of the last people in the U.S. who believes that while there may be Democratic and Republican statistics, there cannot be Democratic and Republican facts, any more than the number "6" or the letter "G" or the amount of hydrogen atoms in a molecule of water has an intrinsically partisan component.)

My uninformed, instinctive, natural-born skeptic's response to the claim that fracking causes earthquakes has always been, "Don't be ridiculous." However, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources seems to be saying that in some cases this may be true.
