It is true that updating the corporate papers would be the easiest/fastest problem to fix. However, updating the corporate papers first could allow old CTCC claimants to attach claims against the new CTCC's assets (valuable patents or future income) so Don should settle the old claims first.

I'm not a lawyer just my humble opinion. Go CTCC/STEP
