Internet: Intel vs. ARM

See, Intel has a HUGE problem at hand vis-a-vis the ARM world...

In the X86 world the availability of a trusted execution environment is not prevalent nor close, so the ability for applets/trustlets is limited. Wave's infrastructure for this is primarily key management and such for TPMs.

In the ARM world the notion of applets/trustlets is a more realistic target going forward with all the "old" TAN (Trust Assurance Network) concepts. Shorter term it is likely MTM related management and applications.

The big question is, where does this leave Intel in the phone/tablet and consumer space?

Intel is about to lose the entire consumer space.
