some of the older ones that stood up in the 60's for civil rights were/are some really decent folks

and clear minded about the bill of rights etc
while I was a democrat
they were great to know and work with
they were the ones who actually helped me get EVERY single anti-gun resolution brought up here- get them ALL shot down

they also would stand up to the younger commie types

so during their younger days they were labeled liberals
but they were different from these today

which are what? progressive liberals?
I mean what do we call them besides PITAs and anti-American
