Michael -- my bets are that there's no required/automatic tie between the shares on the market and the exit of bankruptcy.

Technically {ok, conspiracy theorists, this one is yours} "anything could happen". Delays, extensions, asteroids, etc.

All market trading is supposed to be buyer-beware and due diligence, etc, etc...

I'm wondering, out loud, whether anybody has looked at any other "larger sized" bankruptcy cases and seen what happened in the last waning days before stock converted... eg, any stopping of trading, or worse, any accidental trading by certain brokers of securities that technically no longer exists...
