Then we agree to disagree. I would be very upset if a new CEO were named out of the gate, unless the BOD provided evidence that the they had somehow been engaged in a recruitment search well before they took office (and who took the risk of paying for that, given that reimbursement by newco could not have been guaranteed?).

And I see no reason whatsoever for concluding that "this company will never exist in the manner we expect" if we don't know who the CEO is this week.
