Bbotcs, I'm not sure what the point of confusion was on Netflix. They have a number of plans. The most popular one is for "three at a time" for 17.99. Yes, it is for "unlimited" use, but the process of mailing back and forth will in effect mean 13-14 per month. You could probably artificially boost that by rushing your viewing, but not by much. Yes, I think it was $21.99 at one time, but they lowered in response to Blockbuster entering the field.
The "five at a time" plan turns out to be $29.99, not the $32 figure I mentioned. One could probably expect 20-23 per month with this, if you don't let them sit around too long. So, it could provide 8-10 more per month for the additional $11. There's also a plan for 3/month for 9.99, and one for "one at a time, unlimited" (don't know price).
