They probably do have to be thinking about how to adjust the equipment installed. What can be used, what to replace???
I did ponder that a bit. Difficult to sort of put a handle on it. How big would the autoclave be??? Maybe somebody got a spare one laying around. I'm thinking it don't have to be all that big. Most of the big monsters are for processes running very low grade ores and mucho TPD's.
Probably something in the 20 million dollar range as a wild guess for putting the process in some sort of state that could run as wanted in the new configuration. Need new grinding equipment, autoclave, oxygen plant of some type, support for the autoclave in terms of energy / steam / whatever. Most guys probably just rent or sub that out oxygen to somebody like Linde.
So they probably don't have enough money in the bank to make an attempt at firing up themselves. Some type of JV deal might make it possible and they would not have to lay off that big of a percentage I would not think.
But I'm ready for real news. Lets fire this baby up.
