We have grown tenfold our enemies and lost the respect of many allies. We cut funding for higher education to near nothing.

Electing Obama, if nothing else, showed the world there were still Americans willing to stand up against the radical, single minded religious and corporate control. And it raised global opinion a notch or 2.
