You may well be correct and I didn't mean to say SL suggested MSFT stole software (an extension and judegent on some of the lawsuits. However, I think we can all agree that MSFT has a history of ATTEMPTING to extend, embrace, and destroy competitors if it can -- and that they think of themselves as the "Software Government" with rights of emminent domain. (grin)

Sheldon's helpful, and exper technical description of the multitude of connects, however, has left me with questions about his financial interpretation of his technical understanding and I was attempting to stimulate a response in that area since if they can bundle the software into their OS software, I had better be right that this is a web services play more than an interoperable OS for the web play.
