"If someonein the military tells someone else something basically because of our clearance levels and hat information is posted on a chat board like this, would that be considered insider trading. Basically if inew something and posted it here could I get in trouble.

It would not be violation of law unless YOU were to buy/trade that security due to that information so you would not get in trouble. Us as well would NOT because we if we would have decided to trade based on that information it would be a rumor off of this board.

THE KEY WORD IS INSIDER TRADING. You are not insider in first place and I am assuming you will not trade security based on that information.
