Witchblade, Magdalena are both Top Cow properties that have reverted back to Top Cow. I called there today and confirmed this. You don't know it because Scott doesn't want you to.
Nightfall is as dead as everything else. When was the last announcement made? The last I could find was almost three years ago and a search for Nightfall and Platinum Studios on google provide only results from Platinum's own website and this one.
As for the Weapon, and Scott taking it into pre-production himself, that's the most vauge statement I've ever heard. Who's producing? Where's the money coming from? Who is involved creatively? Who's paying them?
I know there are new debts that popped up because I have friends in the graphic design and animation world that have complained recently about being stiffed on money for several Cowboys and Aliens related animation projects. I've can't find any info about an animated Cowboys and Aliens in development (but I did find this which is way better than the movie imho: http://www.veesh.com/productions/animated-movies/Cowboys-and-Aliens) so maybe this is something Scott is working on in secret. If that's the case I think he's done too little too late on that front. Does anyone care about Cowboys and Aliens after that dismal movie? I don't. certainly my kids don't give a shit about a cartoon version of a movie they slept through.
