PDOS4Life,
I honestly respect your devotion to the success of the company. I really do. I really want the company to succeed. I really do, as I have my own money still tied up in it. The company has the potential to do so, to be a great success. I am listening, but taking some of the recent things said about Scott here with a grain of salt, too. I don't envy any man going through a divorce, but I know it isn't easy for any human being. If he is indeed, my sympathies go out to him.

But you really have to, on some level, understand that the only thing standing in the way of this company succeeding is the people in charge.

You want facts?
Fact 1 - The CEO made almost as much money last year as Mark Zuckerberg did for creating and running Facebook.
Fact 2 - The CEO gets 25% of the GROSS PROCEEDS of the company in exchange for a three month extension on a loan he made to the company.
Fact 3 - 81% of the over 2 billion shares are owned by the CEO or companies he controls, meaning the shares we all bought have been devalued significantly, not even counting the 98 million plus that have been run through Duchess. His ownership of the company has increased while ours has lessened.

These three facts alone, which are pulled from their own filings, tells me enough to know that money has been flowing out of the company at an alarming rate and what do I, a shareholder, get in return? A couple of facts based on things we haven't seen:

Fact 1 - No announcements of anything going into production.
Fact 2 - No announcements of any new comics being released.
Fact 3 - We never heard that Atlantis Rising had fallen out of development until we heard it was being set up with Mark Canton. We never heard David Henrie wasn't starring in Weapon any more until it was announced that Scott was putting it in development himself. What else has died that we haven't heard anything about? Is Witchblade still going? Is Magdalena? Is Nightfall? Have we not heard any news on these projects because they are all dead? After hearing them tout Cowboys & Aliens as a hit, how come we haven't heard of other studios swooping in for more of their great content?

The fact is, we have not heard a significant comic book or film announcement in months from a company who's business is to create comic books and turn them into films. If the best you can come up with is announcing Scott is working on the development of something he himself created, it tells me a lot about what you're not announcing. If there were better deals than that going on, I think we would hear about them.

PDOS4Life, you and I are in the same boat here. A lot of us are. There are many of us on this board that really, really want this company to succeed. More, by far, than want to see it fail or have some shorting agenda. It is not me or others that ask the hard questions that are preventing Platinum from succeeding. It is not even the people here who seem to have personal gripes about the management. If this company were being run right, there wouldn't be hard questions to ask and the people with personal problems would be drowned out by the resounding successes that we would be hearing about.

I don't know about Scotty's personal life or character. I've never met the man and I'm not sure what I would say to him if I did. But if you are asking for concrete proof, it is all there right in front of you. Don't let your resistance to the way it is sometimes presented here or the anger mixed in with that blind you to the events as they are transpiring. People ARE angry. They have taken some personal shots at Scotty. Ignore all of that if you want. Choose not to believe unsubstantiated tales of what goes on behind closed doors there if you want to, too. Honestly, I'm not sure how much I believe, but outrageous tales seem to keep surfacing. Maybe they are true, maybe they aren't. But don't ignore the truth that IS there because you just don't like some of the "maybes".
