This is not a simple buy&hold situation here. It is a buy, wait to settle, call your broker, opt in to releases, have your shares blocked, get converted to new shares, and wait until they're listed situation.

I don't know you or your tolerances, so I can't say that you should or should not do anything. I'll put it this way: I told my parents to buy a long time ago, but I wouldn't tell them to buy more now due to their very adverse-to-risk tolerance.

But you certainly may. Be aware that these securities are being cancelled on or about 2/29/2012, so you have a very short timeframe in which to purchase the shares, allow them to settle to your account, and then to contact your broker to elect to "opt in" to the now confirmed Plan of Reorganization (I like saying that!)

I have a social disorder (although it's not quite full blown Asperger's), and can come across differently than intended...if you're offended by something I've said, I probably didn't mean it with such animosity - please take it with a grain of salt. :)
