Reason for Amended Filing
The SEC now requires a portion of the filing to be done in XBRL The mandate from SEC states it must be filed in first Q following 2011 10-K.

The company that was hired to do this had to edit that portion of the filing because it did not show online in the original filing due to formatting issues, hence the amended 10Q. XBRL by industry standards cost additional money. However through some research I was able to find a company that handled this requirement as well as other aspects of the company’s filings saving approximately $8k per filing. The amended filing was done free of charge because of the formatting issue.
