A couple years ago, I voted for a particular plan proponent in the Fremont General case and watched that group combine with another just prior to the beginning of hearings. Others countered those moves by later voting by with a rival group.

The process is not simple. It requires a filing to have the specific ballot changed or an Order Approving Stipulation and Agreement. This generally is done only by large or institutional holders, where a large block can make a difference. I see two tonight between the Debtors and HoldCo Advisors LP and Tricadia Management LLC.

It may be a long night...
