Well how about this for a wrinkle that has not been mentioned yet. Many people do not want ethanol mixed in their fuel. Ethanol contributes to the deterioration of any rubber components it comes into contact with. This includes the fuel lines in any small engine (lawn mower, chainsaw, weed eater etc.), also certain o rings and other seals that are exposed to the ethanol prior to combustion. Over the last several years major manufactures of landscaping equipment have developed machinery that runs on propane, just as forklifts in warehouses have done for years, as an alternative for contractors who operate in an area where ethanol free fuel is hard to find.. The matter of ethanol production is much bigger then just production. You must hqve the customer base to support the numbers the are being hypothesized.
