1. search "naked shorting" "stock dividend", you'll see many discussing how effective this is at exposing naked shorts.
2. naked short sellers don't get margin calls because no one knows they have shorted (counterfeited) those shares.

So the stock dividend will expose any naked shorts out there. I'm confident of that.

Otherwise, what's the purpose for issuing it? To create cover for doubling the A/S?
O/S goes up by 70 million, A/S by 1.5 billion. Quite a neat trick.

Any guesses as to why a company expecting a $90 million windfall needs 1.5 billion additional shares NOW?
