YEs... But who is we ?? If a buy out were announced, then generaly the price starts to trade torward that buy out price..
Open orders would fill if and when the trading price met the open order price.. No diffrent then anyother day. So if YOU had some for sale on a open order at say .20, then when the price reached .20 your order would fill. The point was. that if a buyout were announced for a 1.00.. most people would pull any open orders and reset them for around a 1.00.. thus since no one is willing to sell for under a 1.00, the price would jump up fairly quickly. so it would be very hard to get in if that were announced.
