We're not arguing about when he FIRST STARTED, we are arguing about HOW LONG HE TOOK... To most people the difference is obvious. And the thing that matters, the thing that tells us if the investment is worth it is the overall amount of time that has been put into the project, not the date someone first looked into the idea. You are right that he looked at it first back then but so what, that means nothing. They have said in no uncertain terms that they started almost from scratch three years ago and that he worked on it part time. He even specifically said that he did not want to work on it full time. Of course you will still claim he worked on it full time for 8 years, probably as soon as tomorrow, but facts are facts...
