Well I'm upset with MGMT/BOD since they were not able to get a bid for the whole company during the EPIC 6 month SR, but at the same time I've always been pounding the table that I think the bidders are dragging their feet, ie asking for more time to do DD, etc. I've also been saying this whole time (which I'm sure almost everyone else agrees) is that there's a lot of complexity with forming consortiums among these companies which is probably holding the process up and causing a major hurdle to get a bid.

But at the same time there was no deadline like Nortel had in bankruptcy court, so there was less urgency, if IDCC was selling their patent portfolio in bankruptcy court it would be a different story. Now are you telling me that when Nortel sold their 5,500 patents/patent applications for $4.5 billion that there were NOT some patents that significantly more valuable than others??? Didn't think so. Like I said before, if IDCC can get a bid for their really good stuff (4G/LTE patents) and start a bidding war for that, maybe somehow they could convince the companies to start bidding for other patents that may be less strategic to get an edge over the other bidder..."gorilla math" was used in the Nortel sale, so I don't see why it couldn't be used in an IDCC patent sale...
